Creating a Skincare Routine
If you're wondering how your new products should fit into a skincare routine, you're not alone. One of the most common questions we are asked is how to put together an effective skincare routine. Learn how to use products from each of our key categories: cleansers, toners, moisturizers, serums and creams, and sunscreens.
Start with a cleanser
A clean face is the foundation of any skincare routine. Choose a cleanser that is effective at removing oils and makeup while maintaining your skin's moisture. Cleansers often contain ingredients that are benefical on their own, such as those that have hydroxy acids in their formulation.
All our cleansers excel at shrinking pores for a smooth foundation and should be used both in the morning and at night.
Apply a Toner
Toners are the secret to an effective skincare routine. They gently remove any excess oils or impurities that a cleanser might have missed, without stripping your skin of its natural moisture.
Toners also work to prime your skin for moisturizers. Use a toner in the morning and at night, right after you wash your face.
Add Your Favorite Treatment
After you've cleansed your face, and applied toner, you're ready to apply a treatment. This could be a retinol based product offering broad skincare benefits, an anti-aging product, a brightening product, or an anti-oxidant.
Our most popular treatments include peptide serums, brighteners powered by the natural ingredient alpha arbutin, and vitamin C based anti-oxidants.
Lock in Moisture
The next step in any skincare routine is to lock in moisture for the day or night. Both our cream and serummoisturizersfeaturehyaluronic acid and will leave your face feeling fresh, nourished and balanced.
Protect Yourself from UV
While sunscreen should be the last product you apply to your face, it's the most important part of your morning routine. Sunscreen is critical if you use any products that increase your sun sensitivity like hydroxy acids. We suggest using physical blocker sunscreens that rely on minerals such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. These ingredients protect your skin from sun damage without relying on chemicals that can clog pores and damage the environment.
Our mineral sunscreen works as a physical blocker, offers SPF 30 protection, and complements our other product lines perfectly.
